Walk/Ride Days

Green Streets

The LFFA and the City of Lynn are kicking off this year's Green Streets Initiative in Lynn on Friday, October 28th by celebrating Walk/Ride Days! Walk/Ride Days take place the last Friday of every month. The city of Lynn will be encouraging its own employees, community members, and local businesses to take part by considering ways to make healthier and greener transportation choices, and wearing something green in support of this day!

In celebration of this month's Walk/Ride Day, the City of Lynn will be raffling off two FREE tickets to ANY SHOW OF YOUR CHOICE at the Lynn Auditorium! To enter, find the Lynn Food and Fitness Alliance on Facebook, like us, and post a comment on our wall with your ideas about Walk/Ride Days, ways to go green in Lynn, healthy activities, or anything you think is helpful for making healthier choices in the Lynn community. We'd love to hear from you! You can also go to City Hall to fill out a raffle ticket as well in the Office of Community and Economic Development.

For more information on Green Streets and how you can promote Walk/Ride days at your work, business, organization or school, please visit or email the Lynn Food and Fitness Alliance (LFFA) at
