First Annual Youth Civic Showcase & Awards Ceremony

SCI youth council participants are connecting locally to host a civic project showcase, a visual exhibition recapping their 2008 service term. The youth council members participated for nine months volunteering, facilitating civic engagement projects, and allocating over $12,000 dollars to local initiatives through the disbursement of mini-grants. Youth council members and community organizations and leaders from Lynn, Woburn, and Dorchester will gather in Boston at Bunker Hill Community College , located at 250 New Rutherford Ave, Boston MA on Saturday, June 14 from 12 PM - 3 PM to recognize the SCI youth council participants for their tireless efforts to improve their respective communities.
