Summer Jobs for Youth in Lynn

All Lynn residents between the ages of 16 to 21 are welcome to visit Lynn City Hall to sign up for jobs. Arrive on Thursday, June 2nd from 2 PM to 7 PM to sign up for positions starting on July 6th through August 21st (start dates may vary). Compensation starts at $8 to $9 depending on the prospective candidates age, experience and desired position. Those who are eligible for supervisory roles can earn hourly rates between $10.50 and $11. Resumes and cover letters must be submitted to the Office of Economic and Community Development, Room 311, Lynn City Hall, Lynn, MA 01901 by June 5th 2009.

There are jobs in both the public and private sector including landscaping, maintenance, litter control, youth counselors, office, manufacturing, trades and supervisors. Most jobs are Monday through Friday starting between 7AM and 9AM and ending between 3PM and 5PM. Some jobs include evening and weekend hours.
