Lynn Museum Comedy Night

The Lynn Museum & Historical Society is putting the f-u-n back into fundraising on Thursday evening, June 21! Everybody loves to laugh so why not join us for pizza and 75 minutes of side-splitting comedy which is sure to make for a fun night out! Giggles is located inside the Prince Pizza Restaurant at 517 Broadway (Rt. 1, South), Saugus, MA. Tickets are $25.00 per person in advance, $30.00 at the door. Price includes all you can eat pizza and the comedy show! Cash bar is available, as well as several exciting raffle prizes. Doors open at 6:30pm; pizza served at 7pm; and the show starts at 8pm!

Laughs will be provided by three of the funniest local comedians on the scene. Dave Russo, winner of the Boston International Comedy Festival’s “Best New Comic,” received national attention when he beat out over 5,000 entertainers, to win a contract on the E! Entertainment Network’s series “The Entertainer.” Artie Januario, one of Boston’s premier comedians, is a pharmacist by day and a comedian at night. He’s worked at the Comedy Connection of Boston, Nicks Comedy Stop, and the Riviera in Las Vegas. Graig Murphy, a newcomer to the comedy scene, is wowing audiences with his impressions of local sports owners and players and can keep the laughs coming with his talented wit.

All proceeds will benefit educational programs at the Museum, which has been preserving Lynn’s history for 115 years. In addition, the winner of the Logo Design Contest will be announced that evening. We invite all individuals to submit entries in this Logo Contest. We are looking for a unique design for this special anniversary logo that symbolizes the Museum and/or the City of Lynn and its varied history. The logo will be used on the invitation to our Anniversary Gala, in addition to promotional materials throughout the year. Prizes will be offered to the winner.
