Lynn Reads

The Lynn Literacy Campaign
Bootstrap has joined with other organizations in Lynn to promote family literacy as a way for adults to improve their literacy skills and help children develop theirs. March is literacy month and Lynn Reads, the literacy campaign, is having a contest. Families are urged to read together for 15 minutes each night. Kids read to their parents. Parents read to their kids. Non-readers use picture books and make up stories about the pictures. If you read 300 minutes in March you get a free ticket to see The Cat In The Hat at Lynn Auditorium on Tuesday, April 2nd. Doors open at 5:30pm.
