Join Building Bridges Through Music, Inc. (BBTM) as they launch their Coffee House series with a special event featuring a rocking evening with the Willie J Laws Band on September 29 at Tatiana’s Restaurant & Lounge in Lynn.
The Willie J Laws Band performs original, traditional and contemporary Blues, R&B, Funk, and Rock & Roll. Although the members in the Band have changed over the 24 years since it inception, Willie Jaye , a veteran performer, engages and involves the audience with easy charm and continues to expertly wield the lead guitar and be lead vocalist.
The rocking happens Saturday, September. 29 from 6 – 9 p.m. at Tatiana’s Restaurant & Lounge, located at 70 Market St in Lynn, MA. Tickets are $15 per person and include light fare.
This event is part of BBTM’s annual coffee house series supported in part by a grant from the Lynn Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
The proceeds benefit Groove School, a new youth after school program under the BBTM initiative, Educate, Engage, Empower; which offers educational enrichment and after school programs that allow the learning of music and development of confident performance skills. This program, currently in its sixth year has provided a unique and creative outlet for children and youth of the North Shore communities.
Tickets are available at the door or can be purchased in advance at bbtmcoffeehouse.eventbrite.com. For more information call (781) 479-8327 or email, dmurrray@bbtmusic.org.
