Dog Park Idea

Resident Kelli Slattery writes, "I was refered to you to write a suggestion about making an official fenced in dog park in Lynn. There is not an official one where I can bring my dog that is enclosed, and I think it would be a great idea if one was made. My dog is only 8 months old and has a lot of energy, so it would be great if there was a place I could bring him to run around off leash and play with other dogs without the fear of him running away. If there is anything that I need to do to help, please let me know and I will try the best I can to do something. There is an empty lot on Union street that I was told belonged to Carusos Pizza Parlor, maybe they would be willing to turn it into a dog area since it is fenced in, and they might even get more business since it is right next door. Please let me know what you think about this idea."Read more
